I'm rating them solely on their service as a restaurant. If you're looking for a really good home cooked Italian meal, this is the place to eat! The bar is well stocked, the staff is friendly enough, and everything I've eaten there has been delightful. Anyone who has eaten with me knows that I absolutely detest carry out. I hate how it's not the same as it is in the restaurant, I hate that it doesn't hold up well after a car ride, and most of all I hate that you miss out on a Dine-In experience. I just had Pia's to-go for the first time due to the NFL draft making me want to just stay inside and not partake in the craziness that is the Detroit downriver area, and I was so pleasantly surprised everything is just as good as it is in the restaurant. from appetizers to desert everything they have is amazing. if I could make one suggestion to any who would dine here, do yourself a favor and refuse to sit on the side with the big party tables. Parties while I'm sure are more than profitable for Pia's ruin the dining experience for everyone forced to sit in the middle of 3 20+member parties it's loud and most of the servers on that side always seem to be too busy for you. (through no fault of their own, the needs of 60 people just outweigh yours.) As a side note: I heard mention that Pia's portions are small, apart from ravioli which are small everywhere they are not. a $16 dollar dinner comes with a rather large side, a cup of soup or plate of salad, basket of bread, and a sizable entrée . I have never left Pia's feeling like I could still eat. (especially if you order one of their phenomenal deserts)

A favorite. Pastas and pizzas are delicious, but nothing beats the antipasto salad. The homemade chicken pebble soup is also delicious, and the rolls are to die for. Service is quick and attentive, though the bar side can get loud sometimes.

Enjoyed our dinners here. They have a selection of fall cocktails. No local craft beers. Pasta was delicious. Highly recommended mushroom ravioli.

Been a couple decades since last visit, that has now changed, going back really soon. Marvelous unique Asiago Cheese Infused Gnocchi slathered with Garlic n Oil OMG what a instant addiction. Started with a delicious Appetizer Platter perfect for sharing only 7 bucks for the Win. A Bowl of Chicken Pebbles Soup another winner we shared. Had the medium House Special Pizza Pie spot on Wonderful . Fantastic service provided by waitress a former Charlie's employee who knew us. Really excited to try many more of the pasta dishes. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook for specials. Since 1955 a true Downriver Classic Italian restaurant you must visit. #piasristoranteitaliano @pias_1955 #pizza #asiagognocchi #garlicoil #chickenpebbles #appetizerplatter #downriverclassic #downriverfriendseat
